We filmed this amazing scenery video in 4K Ultra HD in the summer of 2015. It is located in the south of Portugal in The Algarve, which is along the Atlantic Ocean. The sea is calm, the sun is out and the cliffs look very appealing with their buff sandstone color. This is a great part of the world for a holiday, with clear water and lovely yellow sand beaches. We were there for a wedding which was amazing which such great views.

The 20 minute UHD version is just 1.2GB which we have found is the sweet spot after a lot of testing- in terms of keeping the file size low without losing quality. Using the new HEVC codec certainly helped keep the quality looking great.

The original recordings are something ridiculous like 100GB, but we carefully color grade the videos to make them as life like and appealing as possible. Then we encode them using the H.264 codec so that they can be compressed. There is also a Full HD option. Plus Windows screensavers, which self loop after 3 minutes.
