We are starting our new line of cat cafe videos with these cute furry little things from Brothers Cat Cafe in Chiang Mai. They allowed us to film when the cafe had closed one night, which was very generous. They have a selection of hungry cats and sell dry cat treats, which we used.

There are lots of Persian cats, kittens and even a hairless cat. Thankfully that one stays inside the little house. I know that is a little mean to say but I am not a fan at all, I love the hairy Persians and other long hair breeds. There is at least one Siamese cat long hair and to be honest, I don’t know the names of the other breeds. The brown and white one used to be very fluffy, but has recently been shaved, except for his head. I am sure you will agree he is super cute.

Cat Cafe screensaver is very relaxing and we have kept the audio simple- it is a quality loop of purring sounds. This video doesn’t have our standard 5.1 surround sound audio as we haven’t had a chance to create an audio track suitable yet. However, if Cat Cafe screensaver is popular, we will be creating one. We also got the color a bit wrong, to be honest I was nervous and rushing as they were staying open for us and didn’t set my white balance. It’s not too far off, but we plan to return to film these cute cats and kittens in their true color in future. Think of it as an Instagram filter for now.

These cats are very active, even after a long day of visitors at the cat cafe. We forgot to bring our new cat toys (they will be in our next video), so we did resort to the lazer pointer at some points; to keeps things moving. Some people say the lazer is a bit unfair as they can never catch what they are chasing. We agree, but when we ran out of treats or the cats weren’t interested, it was our fall back plan. In our next video we took cat nip, cat nip toys and egg shaped plastic balls. They love cat nip and the balls kept then entertained a few moments.
