The marina at the heart of Dubai is quite a sight to behold. There are a variety of excellent viewing spots and we thought this one was the best. Overlooking the water at night with the reflections of the skyscrapers and luxury yachts sailing past. It is a surreal scene to witness- futuristic and highly impressive. We have been asked if Marina Bay Night has been manipulated with a vignette around the edges. It hasn’t. This is the scene as it was filmed on our Sony A7s with Shogun external 4K recorder. The darker edges are simply the light from the city fading into the night sky. There is a glow created from the many lights on the futuristic Dubai buildings. Very few cameras would be able to capture such a scene without visible video noise. This video will look best as an OLED 4K TV wallpaper because OLED screens show darker shadows than QLED, LCD and Plasma screens.

The audio, as with all new Uscenes releases, is mastered in 5.1 surround sound. The video is encoded in the compressed H.264 codec. This allows us to really pack a massive amount of Ultra HD 4K detail into a relatively small file size. The 20 minute 4K MP4 is 1.2 GB (thanks to the latest H.265 compression) and the 20 minute Full HD MP4 is 1.1 GB. Most people will be able to download these file sizes without any trouble. However if you have an unstable internet connection please see our FAQ page where we recommend free download managers in the second tab. This allow the downloads to be paused if the connection drops.

This 4K cityscape wallpaper also looks great as a PC Screensaver

This 4K Dubai cityscape is also available as a Windows screensaver. These are smaller, more affordable downloads because they self loop every 3 minutes. This one is great if you are looking for a PC screensaver for high quality monitors. It will also look great on all other computer screens. You can also get the screensavers in Full HD, which will be suitable for low resolution laptop screens. Please note: if you do not  have a reasonably powerful and modern laptop or PC, we recommend choosing the Full HD versions for guaranteed smooth playback. The 4K MP4 videos generally do not play smoothly on old inexpensive computers, they are really designed to be used on UHD TVs.

    We have the full collection (great value) and this one is a bit different to most Uscenes videos. Works great for romantic nights in. We had it on for a dinner party the other day and all our guests loved it.
