4K Tropical Lagoon Video
This beautiful scene was filmed on a tiny tropical island far far away from most of us. Nestled just below Cebu in the Philippines is Siquijor Island. Many Filipinos fear the island because of stories of witches who could cast evil spells. That is great news for us because it is an almost untouched tropical paradise.
Waterfalls Lagoon is located on the east of the island, it is known locally as Cambugahay Falls. We actually revisited it because the first time we only filmed it in HD.
The 20 minute MP4 video has been kept short so that the download size is not too large. The 4K UHD version is around 1.25 GB and the Full HD version is around 980 MB. The idea is to simply stream them to your Ultra HD Smart TV and select Repeat so that it plays continuously. This can be done with gadgets like the 4K Apple TV, Ultra Google Chromecast and many more media streaming devices. Alternatively, just add it to a USB memory stick and plug it into your TV.
4K Tropical Lagoon Screensaver
You can also choose whether to download screensaver versions of this tropical waterfall for your Windows laptop or computer. The screensavers loop by themselves every 3 minutes and can be selected just like any other screensaver on your computer.
The 4K Ultra HD screensaver is ideal for computers with larger monitors with a high resolution. For example, the stunning new curved Samsung screens which are 27+ inches. Plus many other high-resolution monitors are made by the likes of Dell, LG and Sony. For laptop screens and standard computers the Full HD option will suffice.

Where is Waterfalls Lagoon aka Cambugahay Falls? Plus how to get there?
The island of Siquijor can be reached by boat from the small city of Dumaguete, which is located just south of Cebu island on the island of Negros. You can either drive down from Cebu and take a short ferry to Dumaguete, or you can fly into Dumaguete airport. The runway is very short so landing can be a little unnerving. It took our pilot 3 attempts to land last time, with 2 aborted just a few hundred feet from the ground. My wife was very scared, but I am more excited by extreme sports and adventure, so I found it both fascinating and fun.
Once you arrive in Siquijor the best option is to hire a motorbike, so travel light. Otherwise, you can get a hotel pick up or use a tuk tuk, which is the local public transport for Siquijor. The island is not busy with traffic, making it ideal to explore on a motorbike. Stay on the south coast along San Juan beach, which is where we filmed Hammock Beach and Tropical Vista. Then it is about an hours drive east to the waterfalls. Take sunscreen!
When you arrive at the falls you will be greeted by about 300 steep steps. But don’t that that put you off. Once you get to the bottom your are greeted by the most amazing views of lagoons with waterfalls surrounded by tropical jungle. There is a rope swing for the adventurous. Plus there are 2 sections to the falls with a nice area in between with a sandstone river bed. My guess is that there are minerals or sandstone coming from a spring up the mountain, which make the color of the water such a beautiful jade, aquamarine, turquoise color.
If all that sounds too difficult, just download the videos to bring them into your home: your own nature window to a tropical paradise in crystal clear Ultra HD resolution.
