The reflections from the river mimic the illuminations from the city. Luxury yachts sail up the river from the marina. The high dynamic range of this 4K night cityscape looks stunning on OLED screens, which are able to display deeper shadows resulting in a more vivid video quality.

The marina at the heart of Dubai is quite a sight to behold. There are a variety of excellent viewing spots and we thought this one was the best. Overlooking the water at night with the reflections of the skyscrapers and luxury yachts sailing past. It is a surreal scene to witness- futuristic and highly impressive.

We have been asked if Marina Bay Night has been manipulated with a vignette around the edges. It hasn’t. This is the scene as it was filmed on our Sony A7s with Shogun external 4K recorder.

The darker edges are simply the light from the city fading into the night sky. There is a glow created from the many lights on the futuristic Dubai buildings. Very few cameras would be able to capture such a scene without visible video noise. This video will look best as an OLED 4K TV wallpaper because OLED screens show darker shadows than QLED, LCD and Plasma screens.

The audio, as with all new Uscenes releases, is mastered in 5.1 surround sound. The video is encoded in the compressed H.264 codec. This allows us to really pack a massive amount of Ultra HD 4K detail into a relatively small file size. The 20 minute 4K MP4 is 1.2 GB (thanks to the latest H.265 compression) and the 20 minute Full HD MP4 is 1.1 GB. Most people will be able to download these file sizes without any trouble.
